In less than 8hours another year will end and a new will begin. But will this be a year to remember? Personally I do not want to remember it. 2009 brought nothing but heartbreak and loss into my life, granted I did deserve it. That being said I did have some of the best times of my life in 2009. I met new people, moved out on my own, realized that he was the love of my life and just had a great time with my friends.

2009 is also the end of another decade, 10 years ago I was scared about starting Year 7 at a new school, I was a scrawny little 11 year old with a bowl cut and I was a social outcast. Move onto high school and I became a Queen Bee, how things changed until mom decided to move again and I had to start Year 11 at a new school and became a social outcast again, oh how the mighty had fallen. Looking back on that I often think what did it matter on who I became today? I don’t talk to anyone from high school anymore apart from a very select few, I have an amazing new circle of friends whom I can see myself still being friends with them in another 10 years.

Tonight I know without a doubt will be amazing, I’m not planning on going clubbing, i’m not going to South Bank for the fireworks. Instead i’m having drinks at home with my good friends. There is one special person I wish would be there aswell, but he can’t so I will be waiting for his phone call at midnight.
